Because we have no outside shareholders to pay, no big offices to run and many members help
us with voluntary work, we can offer cheap and unsecured personal loans. We charge a fixed rate
of interest to all members, not discriminating against anyone and not advertising rates that are
rarely offered in reality.

We charge no set up fees,no repayment penalties and there are no hidden charges. You decide
how much and how often you want to make repayments.

'Saver Loans' As we are committed to promoting saving rather than borrowing, we require or
encourage borrowers to put a small sum from each payment into a savings account. These
savings cannot be withdrawn until the loan is repaid. We often require people to have been
a saving member for a short period before applying for a 'saver Loan'.

'Business Development Loans' An unsecured personal loan available to anyone living or working
in Croydon and wanting to set up or expand a business. The loans are provided as part of the
Croydon Enterprise business support programme.

The schemes offer low cost and flexible loans with no minimum sum, no set up charges and no
early repayment penalties.
